National Bureau of Statistics (NBS): The capacity utilization rate of the automobile manufacturing industry was 71.3% in Q2.
By major industry, in Q2 of 2025, the capacity utilization rate of the coal mining and washing industry was 69.3%, that of the food manufacturing industry was 69.1%, that of the textile industry was 77.8%, that of the chemical raw material and chemical product manufacturing industry was 71.9%, that of the non-metallic mineral products industry was 62.3%, that of the ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry was 80.8%, that of the non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry was 77.7%, that of the general equipment manufacturing industry was 78.3%, that of the special equipment manufacturing industry was 76.5%, that of the automobile manufacturing industry was 71.3%, that of the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry was 73.5%, and that of the computer, communication, and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry was 77.3%.
