On July 13, it was reported that the UK planned to introduce new incentives to reduce the cost of purchasing new EVs. Heidi Alexander, the UK's Transport Secretary, confirmed that she would announce new measures this week to boost EV sales. Her office announced on Sunday that it planned to invest £63 million in building charging piles at homes and logistics warehouses across the UK, including funding for charging piles at residential properties without driveways.
