Recently, wholesale data jointly released by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) showed that new auto sales in the Philippines in May 2025 declined by 1.2% YoY, dropping from 40,271 units in the same period last year to 39,775 units. In the first five months of 2025, cumulative auto sales in the Philippine market saw a slight increase of 1.7% YoY, reaching 190,429 units (compared to 187,191 units in the same period last year). Among them, commercial vehicle sales increased by 10% YoY to 151,704 units, while passenger vehicle sales declined by 21.3% YoY to 38,725 units.
