[SMM Magnesium Express] Germany's Speira Group has recently added a new automated sorting line at its Töging magnesium recycling plant, specifically designed to process oil-contaminated magnesium alloy scrap. The new line is expected to increase annual processing capacity by 15%. The advanced technology can effectively separate cutting fluid contaminants from magnesium chips, achieving a remarkable recovery purity of 99.2%. The plant plans trial supplies of recycled magnesium ingots to European battery manufacturers in the fourth quarter.
