German Company Adds New Automated Production Line for Shredded Magnesium Scrap Recycling

[SMM Magnesium News] Recently, the Töging magnesium recycling plant, owned by Germany's Speira Group, has added a new automated sorting line dedicated to processing oily magnesium alloy scrap. It is expected to increase the annual processing capacity by 15%. This technology can effectively separate cutting fluid contaminants from magnesium shavings, achieving a recycling purity of 99.2%. The plant plans to trial supply regenerated magnesium ingots to European battery manufacturers in Q4.
