Data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) on July 10 showed that auto production and sales from January to June 2025 both exceeded 15 million units, with YoY growth rates exceeding 10%. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) increased by 41.4% and 40.3% YoY, respectively, with the new energy penetration rate (the proportion of NEV sales in total new auto sales) reaching 44.3%. In terms of exports, China's total auto exports from January to June amounted to 3.083 million units, up 10.4% YoY, with NEV exports reaching 1.06 million units, up 75.2% YoY.
