Qiya Xinjiang Group Officially Launches Major EPC Project for Energy-Saving Renovation of Thermal Power Units

Published: Jul 13, 2025 23:52
Recently, the signing of the technical agreement and contract for the EPC project of comprehensive energy-saving renovation of thermal power units under Qiya Xinjiang Group's subsidiary has been completed, marking the official launch of this major upgrade project! This is a crucial measure taken by Qiya Xinjiang Group to actively respond to the national strategic goals of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality," thoroughly implement the requirements of the "three reforms linkage" for coal-fired power, and promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the energy industry.

This technical facility upgrade and renovation project is mainly carried out around Qiya Xinjiang Group's Xingli Power Generation Units 1#-4#. Units 1#-4# are three-cylinder, two-row steam subcritical indirect air-cooled units that were put into operation by Qiya Xinjiang Group from 2013 to 2015. With the increase in operating years and the higher requirements set by the national new-type energy system for thermal power units, the performance of the existing units has become difficult to match the high-quality development needs of the group. Faced with the new situation and new requirements, Qiya Xinjiang Group made a decisive decision and efficiently advanced the plan for unit upgrades and renovations.

Fed to Keep Large Banks' Capital Levels Unchanged, Postpones Stress Test Reforms Until 2027
The US Fed has announced that it will maintain the capital levels of large banks unchanged during the upcoming stress test cycle (corresponding to the 2026 cycle). At the same time, the US Fed is planning multidimensional reforms to this annual test, aiming to enhance its transparency. The US Fed's Vice Chair for Supervision, Bowman, revealed that adjustments to the stress capital buffer requirements for large banks will be postponed until 2027. This move is intended to provide the US Fed with sufficient time to evaluate potential flaws that may be exposed in its testing models when assessing banks' financial conditions under simulated economic downturn scenarios.
