Aluminum Ingot Inventory Rises by 5,000 MT; Increased Goods in Transit Reported

According to SMM statistics, on July 11, the aluminum ingot inventory in Guangdong was 142,000 mt; in Wuxi, it was 113,500 mt; and in Gongyi, it was 68,500 mt. The total inventory across these three locations was 324,000 mt, an increase of 5,000 mt from the previous trading day. (The inventory data was updated on the data terminal at 9:15.)

Today, a warehouse in east China reported that the volume of goods in transit this week has increased both YoY and WoW. SMM predicts that after this weekend, major consumption areas may face pressure from concentrated arrivals to a certain extent.
