True North Copper (ASX\:TNC) has announced the discovery of a new copper-cobalt-silver mineralised system at the Aquila prospect, part of its Mt Oxide Project in northwest Queensland. The discovery comes from a reverse circulation drilling program that began in May 2025. Assay results have been returned from the first three of five planned drill holes, confirming significant resource potential in the area. Key drilling results include: 30m @ 2.45% copper, 0.02% cobalt, 6.2 g/t silver, including 10m @ 5.31% copper, 12 g/t silver, and 4m @ 1.62% copper, 0.20% cobalt, 3.9 g/t silver. The mineralised system is up to 150 metres wide, starts from shallow depths, and contains high-grade zones. It remains open along strike and at depth, indicating strong potential for further growth. Aquila is located over 4 km from the company's existing Vero resource, suggesting the possible discovery of a much larger, previously unidentified deposit. The results support True North’s systematic and targeted exploration strategy.
