On July 8, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of Hunan Province issued a response to Proposal No. 0799 of the Third Session of the 14th Hunan Provincial People's Congress, mentioning the promotion of the application of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs). The proportion of pure electric buses and trolleybuses in the province stands at 97.48%, with 100% of newly added buses being new energy vehicles. The promotion ratio of new energy buses ranks first nationwide, and the proportion of pure electric taxis is 55.3%. The charging infrastructure is gradually improving. A total of 336,100 charging piles have been built, with full coverage of charging piles in expressway service areas. The number of public charging piles in society has grown rapidly, and the availability of charging piles along highways and in residential communities has effectively increased, basically achieving a "unified network" for charging across the province.
