[GAC Fiat Chrysler declared bankrupt] On July 8, the administrator of GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Co., Ltd. announced that due to the impossibility of restructuring GAC Fiat Chrysler, based on the opinions of some creditors and after discussion by the creditors' committee, the administrator had applied to the Changsha Intermediate People's Court for a ruling to declare GAC Fiat Chrysler bankrupt. At the first creditors' meeting convened by the Changsha Intermediate People's Court, the "Bankruptcy Property Distribution Plan" drafted by the administrator had been approved by a vote of the creditors' meeting. Upon the administrator's application, on June 27, 2025, the Changsha Intermediate People's Court had issued a ruling to recognize it. The administrator will, in accordance with laws and regulations, expedite the completion of various closing tasks in this case, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of creditors, and strive to complete the distribution of bankruptcy property as soon as possible in accordance with the "Bankruptcy Property Distribution Plan".
