Alibaba Tongyi's Open-Source WebSailor Leads in Open-Source AI

Alibaba Tongyi Officially Opensources Web Agent WebSailor
Alibaba Cloud announced that Tongyi has officially openedourced the web agent WebSailor. Currently, the construction plan and part of the dataset for WebSailor have been open-sourced on GitHub. According to Alibaba Cloud, the actual test results of the English and Chinese versions of the BrowseComp evaluation set show that WebSailor-32B and WebSailor-72B not only achieve a leading position among open-source models and agents but also surpass closed-source models such as DeepSeek R1 and Grok-3, ranking second only to the closed-source OpenAI DeepResearch.
