[Floods exceeding warning levels occurred in seven rivers in Sichuan, Zhejiang, and Yunnan] Today, the Ministry of Water Resources held rolling consultations to analyze and predict the path of Typhoon "Danas", its impact scope, and the national rainfall and flood situation. Affected by rainfall, from 8:00 on July 7 to 8:00 on July 8, floods exceeding warning levels occurred in seven small and medium-sized rivers, including the Hanshui River and Yongxing River, tributaries of the Qujiang River in Sichuan, the Nanguan River, Lianshuqiao River, Dongyue River, and Jinqinggang River along the coast of Zhejiang, and the Caojian River, a tributary of the Lancang River in Yunnan. The maximum exceedance over the warning level was 2.11 meters, with the Hanshui River and Yongxing River in Sichuan exceeding the guaranteed water level by 0.11 to 0.18 meters. The Ministry of Water Resources issued targeted warnings to 12 provinces, including Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, and Sichuan, in the form of "one province, one warning", reminding them to take precautions against floods in small and medium-sized rivers and mountain torrent disasters, and ensure the safe passage of reservoirs and silt check dams during the flood season. Meanwhile, the Ministry maintained a Level IV emergency response for flood defense in six provinces and cities, including Zhejiang, Fujian, Chongqing, Sichuan, Gansu, and Qinghai.
