[Brazil's iron ore exports hit record high in June] Official data released by Brazil's economic department showed that in June, Brazil exported 36.333 million mt of iron ore, up 9.8% YoY and 4% MoM. In the first six months, exports reached 186 million mt, up 3.8% YoY, with the growth rate expanding from the 2.4% increase in the first five months. The data indicated that the 36.333 million mt exported in June this year was a record high for Brazil's iron ore exports in the same period over the years, surpassing the previous peak of 34.226 million mt in June 2024. The data also showed that in June, Brazil's iron ore exports to China were 26.158 million mt, up 4.6% YoY. In the first six months, exports to China were 129 million mt, up 5.4% YoY. In the first six months, the proportion of Brazil's iron ore exports to China accounted for 69.6% of its total exports, up 1.1 percentage points YoY.
