According to SMM, Ero Copper stated that its Tucuma copper project in Brazil had achieved commercial production. However, at least one analyst expressed skepticism about whether the company could meet its annual production target. Ero Copper said in a statement that the Tucuma project had produced approximately 6,400 mt of copper in Q2, with around 2,000 mt produced in the second half of June. The company indicated that the throughput of the project's processing plant should continue to increase by year-end, thereby supporting consecutive growth in copper production in H2.
