On July 4, a certain new energy technology company announced the successful roll-off of the first batch of engineering samples from the world's first GWh-level new-type solid-state battery production line, independently developed by the company. It is reported that the core equipment of the production line, which has been put into operation, integrates eight functions, including automatic coating of positive and negative electrode battery cells, electrode separator compounding, and dynamic heat sealing. The total length of the production line exceeds 35 meters, with a designed capacity of 1.25 GWh. The first batch of new-type solid-state 1.0 battery samples that rolled off the line have passed the new national standard GB38031-2025 and rigorous nail penetration tests. Thanks to the non-flowing electrolyte design, they achieve ultra-high safety with "no combustion or explosion." In terms of energy density, the company has achieved over 300 Wh/kg for its first-generation products, with samples of its second-generation 400 Wh/kg products entering the trial production stage. It is expected to launch the third-generation all-solid-state battery with an energy density exceeding 500 Wh/kg in 2027.
