[After the release of new regulations on carrying power banks on flights, multiple airports have provided temporary storage services] Recently, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) issued a notice and requirements regarding passengers carrying power banks on flights. Currently, major airports nationwide have not only strengthened security inspection efforts but also set up additional power bank inspection counters to facilitate passengers' self-inspection in advance. Some airports even offer temporary storage services for power banks. According to Beijing Capital International Airport, for non-compliant power banks detected during security checks, passengers can choose to have them taken back by accompanying personnel, sent via on-site express delivery, or stored temporarily at Beijing Capital International Airport for a period of 7 days. During the storage period, passengers need to retrieve them by themselves. If not claimed within the period, it will be considered as abandoned. The temporary storage points at Beijing Capital International Airport are located at the T3 Passenger Service Center and the T2 Passenger Service Center.
