Following the June 2nd successful water supply for the brine discharge system, commissioning commenced on June 10th, and the first batch of products were officially rolled out on June 17th. This marks full operational readiness for the 2.29 billion yuan salt lake development project, completed 13 days ahead of schedule.

[New LFP recycling and sodium-ion cathode material project announced] Jiangxi Weibang Materials Technology's environmental impact assessment for the expansion of LFP cathode material recycling production lines and construction of new sodium-ion battery cathode material production lines was recently published by Le'an County EPB in Jiangxi Province. The company plans to build 1 sodium-ion cathode material production line, R&D labs, and supporting facilities at its existing site, with annual output of 200 mt composite sodium iron phosphate (sodium iron pyrophosphate) cathode material. Simultaneously, all production equipment for the existing lithium battery electrode material recycling project will be upgraded to increase recycling capacity from 3,000 mt/year to 10,000 mt/year.

[20,000 mt scrap lithium battery dismantling project advances] Sichuan Leshan EPB recently issued approval opinions for the environmental impact assessment of Jingyan Xingyuan's scrap lithium battery dismantling project. This project holds significant implications for Sichuan Province and national scrap lithium battery recycling development. Upon completion, it will process 20,000 mt/year of new energy power batteries, including 1 GWh/year second-life applications and 10,000 mt/year comprehensive material utilization.

[30,000 mt retired lithium-ion battery second-life application project announced] Inner Mongolia Bona Qingyuan Recycling's "Lithium Battery and Waste Electrical Equipment Recycling Resource Utilization Project" environmental impact assessment was recently published by Horqin Left Wing Back Banner Government. The advancement of this project holds significant importance for the development of the new energy industry in Tongliao City and even the entire Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The project will be constructed in three phases, with Phase I enabling the second-life application of 30,000 mt/a of retired lithium-ion batteries annually, Phase II facilitating the disassembly recycling of 20,000 mt/a of scrap wind turbine blades annually, and Phase III supporting the dismantling of 20,000 mt/a of waste electrical equipment annually.

[5,000 mt/a Waste Lithium-Ion Battery Resource Recycling Upgrade Project] Recently, the Lanzhou Ecology and Environment Bureau of Gansu Province published a notification regarding the acceptance of environmental impact assessment documents for the "5kt/a Waste Lithium-Ion Battery Resource Recycling Production Line Product Upgrade and Quality Improvement Project." With a total investment of 43.8588 million yuan, this project upgrades the existing 5,000 mt/a waste lithium-ion battery recycling production line by adding processes such as impurity removal, freeze denitration, lithium precipitation, carbonisation, pyrolysis, and post-treatment. Upon completion, the upgraded facility will achieve an annual output of 500 mt of high-quality lithium carbonate.

[6,000 mt/a Lithium Battery Pole Piece Pulverizing Project Launched] The Yongning County Administrative Approval Service Bureau of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region recently released filing information for the "Ningxia Julisheng Technology Co., Ltd. 6,000 mt/a Lithium Battery Positive/Negative Pole Piece Pulverizing and Copper Wire Nodules Processing Project." The project involves a total investment of 73 million yuan and will produce 6,000 mt/a of lithium battery pole piece powder and copper wire nodules.
