Apple iPhone Sales in China Grow for the First Time in Two Years, Ranking Third in Market Share
According to Counterpoint Research data, iPhone sales in China increased by 8% YoY in Q2 this year, marking Apple's first growth in the Chinese market since Q2 2023. The improvement in Apple's sales was mainly due to discount promotions offered by Chinese e-commerce platforms for its latest iPhone 16, along with increased trade-in prices for some iPhone models. Consumers responded positively, especially in the week leading up to the 618 shopping festival. According to Counterpoint, Huawei's sales increased by 12% YoY in Q2, and the company was the largest mobile phone producer in terms of market share in China during Q2, followed by Vivo, with Apple ranking third.
