According to SMM data, the weekly operating rate of enamelled wire industry machinery fell by 2.07 percentage points to 79.53% on a WoW basis during the week of June 27th to July 3rd, with the decline exceeding expectations. Enterprises reported that high copper prices significantly suppressed downstream ordering willingness, and new orders pulled back WoW. Currently, the industry is in a traditional consumption off-season, and the rise in copper prices during the week further suppressed demand, resulting in a sluggish overall market performance. SMM predicts that the operating rate will continue to decline slightly next week.
