The price of LCO increased this week

Recently, the price of LCO has seen a significant increase due to changes in the cost of raw materials: the price of battery-grade lithium carbonate has continued to rise, and the price of Co3O4 has surged due to policy impacts in the DRC, leading to strong pricing sentiment. On the supply side, Co3O4 enterprises are offering higher quotes for shipments, and LCO cathode plants have low purchase willingness for high-priced Co3O4. On the demand side, end-use demand is entering the off-season, resulting in a decrease in demand for LCO. Overall, the price of LCO is expected to rise significantly with the increase in the prices of Co3O4 and lithium carbonate.
