On July 2, Ganfeng Lithium announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ganfeng International, had acquired the remaining 40% stake in Mali Lithium B.V., a subsidiary of Leo Lithium Limited, for US$342.7 million using its own funds. Recently, Ganfeng Lithium has delivered the full consideration for the acquisition of Mali Lithium's stake to Leo Lithium and completed the equity transfer. As a result, Ganfeng Lithium now holds 100% of Mali Lithium's equity. The first phase of the Goulamina spodumene project in Mali, owned by Mali Lithium, with an annual capacity of 506,000 mt of lithium concentrates, has officially commenced production, with capacity gradually being released. The smooth opening of the lithium ore export transportation line from Mali to China marks that the company's lithium ore resource layout in Africa has entered the substantive output stage.
