AVATR announced that its sales for June 2025 reached 10,153 units, marking the fourth consecutive month of surpassing 10,000 units.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 1, AVATR, a Chinese premium intelligent new energy vehicle brand under Changan Automobile, announced that its sales for June 2025 reached 10,153 units, reflecting a 117% year-on-year soar and marking the fourth consecutive month of surpassing 10,000 units.

In early June this year, AVATR revealed that its cumulative sales had exceeded 150,000 units, with the average price of its products surpassing 270,000 yuan.

Currently, AVATR offers several models, including the AVATR 11, AVATR 12, AVATR 07, and AVATR 06. Among them, the AVATR 06, which went on sale in April this year, is available in five variants, with prices ranging from 209,900 yuan to 279,900 yuan. Within just over a month of its market release, the model's cumulative deliveries has surpassed 10,000 units.

The AVATR 06 is built on the AVATR 2.0 design philosophy and positioned as a mid-size vehicle. In terms of performance, the model comes with two versions based on powertrain solutions: BEV (battery electric vehicle) and REEV (range-extended electric vehicle).

The BEV version is built on an 800V high-voltage platform, with the single-motor variant delivering a maximum output of 252kW. Meanwhile, the dual-motor variant, with electric motors producing 188kW at the front and 252kW at the rear, offers a battery-powered range of 650km and 600km respectively under the China Light-duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC).

The REEV version features a 1.5T engine with a peak power output of 115kW, paired with an electric motor that delivers 231kW at most. There are two specifications of lithium iron phosphate battery packs — 31.7kWh and 45.06kWh — with a battery-powered range of 170km and 240km respectively.

The design of the AVATR 06 retains the brand's signature family style, featuring vibrant color options such as purple, white, and orange, which appeal particularly to younger consumers. The front-end incorporates split-type headlights with a futuristic vibe, and the F-shaped daytime running lights offer a striking visual effect. The BEV version is equipped with an Active Grille Shutter, while the REEV version boasts a black mesh grille.

Additionally, the AVATR 07, hitting the market in September last year, offers both BEV and REEV versions across six variants, with official prices ranging from 219,900 yuan to 289,900 yuan. Since its market launch, the model logs a delivery volume of over 50,000 units.

AVATR is also accelerating its expansion into overseas markets, with plans to enter more than 50 countries and regions by 2025 and deploy over 160 outlets globally.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
