A relevant person from Haier Smart Home revealed that Haier's cumulative sales of air conditioners in Europe this year have increased by approximately 30% YoY. "Sales (of European air conditioners) have indeed improved as the weather has heated up," said the head of TCL Air-Conditioner's European market to reporters.

Zhou Zhen of Orient Securities pointed out that as the peak demand season for air conditioners runs from April to July, there is a clear correlation between demand and temperature. For example, in 2023, the combination of a hot summer and relatively low inventory levels led to a YoY growth rate in domestic sales shipments of air conditioners consistently exceeding 20% from April to July. For this year, considering that temperatures remained high in May and that the temperature baseline in June-July last year was not high, which is favorable for end-use demand, coupled with the assessment that current inventory levels in the air-conditioner distribution channel are reasonably low, the performance of air-conditioner shipments during the peak season is expected to be promising.
