Union Steel Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy met UAE Economy Minister Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri in Dubai to advance industrial ties under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). Their talks centred on co-developing and trading high-quality steel and aluminium—materials vital to India’s fast-growing automotive, mobility and strategic sectors. Kumaraswamy cited “clear synergy” between the two nations and proposed a joint working group to identify CEPA opportunities, streamline logistics and build long-term cooperation.
