PTL's silicon-based anode project trial production launched

[Trial Production of Project with Annual Output of 12,000 mt of Silicon-Based Anode Materials]
On June 26, Shanghai PTL New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. commenced trial production for its project with an annual output capacity of 12,000 mt of silicon-based anode materials. The total investment for this project is RMB 3 billion, with a planned construction land area of approximately 151 mu. The project is located to the east of Baoshun Road and north of Dongliang Road in Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone. The project will involve the construction of 12 new buildings, including office and R&D buildings, production workshops, product warehouses, and dormitories, with a total construction area of 48,500 m². Additionally, 210 sets of various production equipment will be newly purchased. The project will achieve an annual production scale of 10,000 mt of silicon carbon anode materials and 2,100 mt of silicon oxide anode materials.
Construction of this phase of the project commenced in April 2024, with the factory building completed and capped in December 2024. Equipment installation and commissioning began in February 2025. Currently, the equipment for the first phase has been commissioned and trial production has commenced. It is expected that the project will officially commence production in August 2025.
