[SMM Magnesium News] US Magnesium, the largest magnesium producer in the US, announced the suspension of production and layoffs of 186 employees. Due to the deterioration of the lithium carbonate market and the continuous shrinkage of magnesium production, this leading enterprise in magnesium extraction from the Great Salt Lake will suspend operations starting from November 25 last year.
