MINIEYE will continue to provide cutting-edge advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance the driving experience of future vehicle models.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- MINIEYE recently secured a key designated contract from a leading Chinese automaker to supply its integrated hardware-software assisted driving domain controller, the iPilot 4, for deployment in premium mid-to-large off-road vehicles, according to a press release issued by MINIEYE on June 29.

This marks an expansion of the collaboration between MINIEYE and the automaker, following a prior agreement under which MINIEYE will deliver its iPilot 4 assisted driving solution for the automaker this year. Building on this momentum, MINIEYE will continue to provide cutting-edge advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance the driving experience of future vehicle models.

The MINIEYE's iPilot 4, selected for integration into the latest vehicle model, features a forced air-cooling hardware architecture that ensures stable and efficient system performance. Supporting advanced functions such as Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) and memory parking, the iPilot 4 exemplifies MINIEYE's response to automakers' calls for broader accessibility and equitable adoption of assisted driving technologies. The solution represents a new, practical approach aimed at accelerating the widespread deployment and effective use of ADAS across the automotive market.

In the first half of this year, MINIEYE leveraged its mature full-stack in-house R&D and integrated hardware-software development and manufacturing capabilities, to win several key contracts across its core business segments of driver assistance and smart cockpit. These achievements underscore the company's growing recognition and credibility among both industry peers and customers.

MINIEYE said it has previously established a solid collaboration with multiple clients, developing an efficient R&D framework and extensive experience in large-scale product delivery. The company remains focused on driving technological breakthroughs and commercialization of mid-to-high-end products, while deepening long-term partnerships with domestic OEMs and global Tier 1 suppliers. At the same time, it continues to expand its international footprint, accelerating efforts to align with global markets and advance its presence in the smart mobility ecosystem.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
