On June 30, 2025: Recently, EVE announced that its wholly-owned grandchild company, EVE ESS, plans to invest in and construct a new-type energy storage battery project in Kedah, Malaysia, with an investment amount not exceeding RMB 8.654 billion. The project will expand the ESS production site. The funding sources include self-owned funds, funds raised from stock issuance, and self-raised funds. The construction period of the project will not exceed 2.5 years. The project aims to promote the company's overseas business development, reduce the risks of international trade friction, meet global energy storage demands, and strengthen the company's market position in the lithium battery field. The investment matter still requires filing and approval from relevant domestic and Malaysian authorities, and there are risks of failing to complete the construction on schedule and failing to achieve the expected returns.
