[SMM Magnesium News] US-based Magrathea Company's seawater magnesium extraction technology has gained favour from capital, and is currently negotiating a financing of US$100 million. The seawater electrolysis process developed by this California-based startup can produce carbon-neutral magnesium metal. It is expected to build a demonstration plant in 2026 and achieve mass production in 2027.
