According to Dongfeng Motor's integrated media news, Dongfeng Motor's integrated die-casting industrialisation project is expected to achieve mass production in June 2026. The project mainly focuses on the R&D, production, and sales of ultra-large integrated die-casting structural parts for NEVs, with products covering rear floor assemblies, battery trays, and other components. After the project goes into operation, Dongfeng Motor will possess the world's largest dual production lines for integrated die-casting, with capacities of 16,000 mt and 10,000 mt, and is expected to produce 200,000 lightweight parts annually. The project covers an area of 56,939 m² with a construction area of 48,350 m², aiming to establish a comprehensive manufacturing base that includes an integrated die-casting workshop for NEV parts, along with supporting process equipment and production auxiliary facilities. The project adopts a "factory within a factory" construction model, striving to create an efficient manufacturing platform that integrates R&D, production, and testing functions. Dongfeng's integrated die-casting industrialisation project marks Dongfeng Motor as the first vehicle manufacturing enterprise in China and even globally to possess dual production lines for integrated die-casting.
