JinkoSolar Sets New Efficiency Records for TOPCon Cells and Modules

JinkoSolar has announced record-breaking efficiency results for its self-developed N-type TOPCon solar products.

JinkoSolar has announced record-breaking efficiency results for its self-developed N-type TOPCon solar products. Certified by TÜV SÜD, its high-efficiency module achieved a maximum conversion efficiency of 25.58%, while its 182 N-type monocrystalline TOPCon solar cell reached 27.02%, verified by China’s National PV Industry Measurement and Testing Center.

These advancements are attributed to innovations such as metallization laser enhancement, high-quality emitter passivation, and local absorption-passivated contact at the cell level, as well as SMBB technology, reflective film integration, and encapsulation patterning at the module level. The news follows the company’s recent release of the "TOPCon Technology and Tiger Neo 3.0 White Paper" at the 2025 SNEC PV Expo.

JinkoSolar expects to upgrade over 40% of its production capacity in 2024, reaching 40–50 GW of high-power TOPCon capacity by the end of 2025. Its latest production lines can deliver 670W output, 24.8% module efficiency, and 85% bifaciality, offering up to 10% product premium over traditional TOPCon.
