Recently, the Taixing Energy pure electric vehicle battery project in the Dalian Jinpu New Area officially commenced construction within the New Energy Industrial Park of the Dalian Free Trade Zone. The project is operated and constructed by Dalian Taixing Energy Co., Ltd., which has previously invested in three phases of hybrid electric vehicle battery projects in Dalian. The current project is a pure electric vehicle battery project, with a total investment of RMB 3.7 billion, covering an area of approximately 230,000 m². Upon reaching full production, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of RMB 4 billion, bringing new momentum to the development of the entire industry chain of NEVs in Dalian. Japan's Taixing is a joint venture between the Toyota Group (51%) and the Panasonic Group (49%), officially established in 2020, and plans to focus on the R&D and production of prismatic lithium-ion batteries, solid-state batteries, and "next-generation" batteries.
