According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), in June, the non-manufacturing business activity index stood at 50.5%, up 0.2 percentage points from the previous month, indicating that the non-manufacturing sector continued to expand overall. By industry, the business activity index for the construction sector was 52.8%, up 1.8 percentage points from the previous month, while the index for the service sector was 50.1%, down 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. In terms of industries, the business activity indices for postal services, telecommunications, radio, television, and satellite transmission services, internet software and information technology services, monetary financial services, capital market services, insurance, and other industries were all in the higher prosperity range above 55.0%. In contrast, the business activity indices for retail, road transportation, air transportation, accommodation, catering, real estate, and other industries were all below the critical point.
