On the evening of June 27, GEM stated on an interactive platform that low-altitude aircraft currently mostly use high-nickel ternary batteries, with some also using LCO batteries. As the world's largest manufacturer of high-nickel ternary cathode precursors, the company has developed core technologies such as core-shell and three-layer structure 9-series ultra-high nickel for high-nickel materials. Meanwhile, as a leading global supplier of Co3O4 (LCO precursor), it holds a 20% global market share. Both high-nickel ternary cathode precursors and Co3O4 products are suitable for power applications, including those for low-altitude aircraft.
