Battery enterprises expand production by adding 400,000 PACK lines

[Adding 400,000 Sets of Power Battery PACKs] On June 25, a battery enterprise signed an agreement with the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Hubei Province to construct the Phase IV project of the Wuhan base for power batteries and energy storage systems. The Wuhan base is planned to be constructed in four phases. Currently, the Phase I, II, and III projects have been completed and put into operation, forming an annual production capacity of 40 GWh for power and ESS batteries. The products are widely used by multiple NEV manufacturers. The Phase IV project signed this time plans to build six new production lines, with a planned annual production capacity of approximately 400,000 sets of power battery PACKs. It is expected to commence production in the first half of next year, and when fully operational, the annual output value could exceed 10 billion yuan.
