Chen Shihua, Deputy Secretary General of CAAM, introduced that overall, the automotive industry, driven by a series of combined policies and accelerated application of enterprise innovation achievements, generally showed a steady and positive development trend. In the first five months of this year, both automobile production and sales achieved growth of over 10%. Among them, the domestic market significantly improved under policy boost, playing a good supporting role. Despite facing increased challenges from international uncertainties, vehicle exports still showed good resilience and maintained steady growth. New energy vehicles continued to show rapid growth, with domestic sales of passenger NEVs accounting for over 50% and domestic sales of new energy commercial vehicles accounting for over 20% in the first five months.
