[SMM Analysis: How Will the Market Expectations Change as Rare Earth Prices Continue to Stabilize?] Currently, according to market feedback, there is a strong wait-and-see atmosphere in the industry, and downstream buyers are not enthusiastic about purchasing. However, with suppliers refusing to budge on prices and holding back on sales, the prices of rare earth oxides have remained stable, without significant market fluctuations.

SMM June 26 News: In the rare earth market this week, the prices of rare earth raw materials have remained relatively stable overall, with fluctuations staying within a relatively small range. From the perspective of the mine side, due to the ongoing rainy season in Southeast Asia, this natural factor has directly led to a significant decline in the quantity of ion-adsorption ore imported from the region this month. Affected by this environmental factor, most mining enterprises have shown a weak willingness to ship goods, and it is difficult to find low-priced ore in the market.

Echoing the situation on the mine side, separation plants have also shown a reluctance to ship goods at low prices when facing difficulties in purchasing raw materials. Currently, according to market feedback, there is a strong wait-and-see atmosphere in the industry, and downstream buyers are not enthusiastic about purchasing. However, with suppliers refusing to budge on prices and holding back on sales, the prices of rare earth oxides have remained stable, without significant market fluctuations.

It is worth noting that with downstream industries gradually emerging from the off-season and positive news continuously circulating in the market, most industry insiders maintain an optimistic outlook on the future market prices of rare earths. In this market atmosphere, low-priced supplies are even harder to find. Overall, although the rare earth market is facing some short-term challenges and fluctuations, the industry generally holds a positive attitude towards its long-term development prospects.
