Tang Zhikun of XPeng Motors: 2024 Marks the First Year of the Company's Global Expansion, with Half of Future Sales Expected to Come from Overseas Markets
Tang Zhikun, General Manager of the International Business Center at Guangdong XPeng Motors Technology Group Co., Ltd., stated at the 2025 Global New Energy Vehicle Cooperation and Development (Shanghai) Forum that 2024 marks the first year of XPeng Motors' global expansion. The company has rapidly expanded its presence to 40 countries and regions, including Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, establishing over 200 overseas sales and service outlets. In 2024, XPeng Motors ranked first among Chinese new energy vehicle brands in terms of exports. Looking ahead, Tang Zhikun expressed that XPeng will strive to become a global AI automotive company over the next decade. By 2027, XPeng aims to rank among the top three Chinese NEV exporters. In the future, XPeng Motors hopes that half of its sales will come from overseas markets.
