On June 25, Jia Weilin, Assistant to the General Manager of Guangzhou Futures Co., Ltd., Tang Zongliang, Department Director, and Tang Ziwen, Deputy General Manager of the Shanghai Branch, visited SMM Information & Technology Co., Ltd. (SMM) for a field trip and exchange. They were warmly received by Ma Yao, General Manager of SMM's Copper Marketing Division, Ren Jie, Deputy Director of SMM's Copper Marketing Division, and Bao Jinyong, Deputy Director of SMM's Copper Marketing Division.
The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on core issues such as the dynamics of the futures market, the construction of SMM's metal price system, and the future development trends of the copper industry. Guangzhou Futures Co., Ltd. Established in 2003, it is a state-controlled futures company headquartered in Guangzhou with a registered capital of 1.65 billion yuan. The actual controller of the company is the Guangzhou SASAC, and the controlling shareholder is Guangzhou Yuexiu Capital Holdings Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Yuexiu Capital", stock code: 000987.SZ), which is the first local financial holding listed platform in China and has continuously received an "AAA" rating from China Chengxin since 2018. The company's business scope includes futures brokerage, futures investment consulting, asset management, and risk management subsidiary businesses. The company has 13 branches and one risk management subsidiary, Guangqi Capital Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., with a business scope covering the whole country, providing one-stop financial services for investors.
Guangzhou Futures is a member unit of the Dalian Commodity Exchange (Member No. 0225), Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (Member No. 0225), Shanghai Futures Exchange (Member No. 0338), Shanghai International Energy Exchange (Member No. 8338), and GFEX (Member No. 0052), as well as a trading and clearing member unit of the China Financial Futures Exchange (Member No. 0196), and can act as an agent for the trading of all domestic commodity futures and options, and financial futures and options.
