[Zhang Lin from VDA: Nearly 70% of surveyed member enterprises have clearly stated their intention to increase investment in China] Zhang Lin, Chief Representative and General Manager of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (China), stated at the 2025 Global NEV Cooperation and Development (Shanghai) Forum that China is no longer just a market for multinational enterprises, but rather a fulcrum that is more importantly leveraging R&D and the application of new technologies. He mentioned that what we repeatedly emphasize as the "China speed" is represented by the rapid iteration and application of new technologies. According to a survey report conducted by the German Association of the Automotive Industry among its member enterprises in Q1 this year, nearly 70% of the enterprises have clearly stated their intention to increase investment in China in 2025 and beyond. Among them, over 78% of the enterprises have reported that their key investments will focus on the R&D sector.
