India's Waaree Changes Location of 6GW Factory

Indian solar manufacturer Waaree Energies has received board approval to change the location of its originally planned 6GW vertically integrated manufacturing facility (covering silicon ingots, wafers, solar cells, and modules) in India. According to the company, the reason for the location change is the delay in the execution of the originally planned project in Odisha. Now, the manufacturing project will be spread across multiple locations in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and possibly other Indian states.
