Chinese Researchers Develop Advanced Mg/Li Hybrid Battery with High Energy Density

[SMM Magnesium Express] Chinese researchers have developed an advanced Mg/Li hybrid battery system featuring NiS2 nanosheet-coated Cu2S cubes cathode and modified APC-LiCl electrolyte. The battery demonstrates 330Wh/kg energy density at 0.3A/g, maintains 215mAh/g after 400 cycles at 0.5A/g, and shows outstanding temperature tolerance and rate capability, marking significant progress for next-generation energy storage.
