SMM Copper Morning Brief: On the fundamental side, as of Monday, June 23, SMM copper inventories in major regions across China decreased by 16,300 mt WoW from last Friday to 129,600 mt. Compared with the inventory changes from last Thursday, inventories in all regions across the country declined, mainly due to low arrivals combined with warrant outflows. As month-end approached, suppliers actively sold their cargoes, but the market was bearish on the outlook, expecting spot premiums to continue to decline. Overall, with the US dollar index continuing to fall, copper prices are expected to have bottom support today.
