According to the Ningbo Magnetic Materials Chamber of Commerce, Ningbo Customs has informed the Ministry of Commerce that it has sent a letter to the General Administration of Customs, providing the latest response regarding the export control of rare earth permanent magnets as mentioned in Announcement No. 18. According to the latest response, a total of three types of rare earth permanent magnets fall under the control scope, including dysprosium-containing permanent magnet NdFeB, terbium-containing permanent magnet NdFeB, and samarium-cobalt permanent magnets. These items need to be declared to ensure compliant export, with a standard threshold of 0.1%. It is worth noting that gadolinium-containing rare earth materials are explicitly not within the control scope.
