During the day session, the center of international copper prices dropped sharply again, reaching a daily low of 69,440 yuan/mt. In the afternoon, short covering and long entry drove the futures market up again, touching a daily high of 69,810 yuan/mt, before pulling back quickly and closing at 69,620 yuan/mt, up 240 yuan/mt. The increase was 0.35%, with open interest at 2,232 lots, a decrease of 446 lots from the previous trading day, and trading volume at 3,440 lots.
