[SMM Weekly Maintenance Statistics] According to SMM statistics, for the week (June 21 to June 27), the impact from blast furnace maintenance on pig iron production was 1.0304 million mt, a decrease of 88,000 mt WoW. For the next week (June 28 to July 4), the impact from blast furnace maintenance on pig iron production is expected to be 1.0856 million mt, an increase of 55,200 mt WoW from this week.

In terms of building materials, the impact from maintenance on building materials production was 1.2689 million mt this week, a decrease of 8,800 mt WoW. For the next week, the impact from maintenance on building materials production is expected to be 1.1466 million mt, a decrease of 122,300 mt WoW from this week.

In terms of hot-rolled steel, the impact from maintenance on hot-rolled steel production was 52,400 mt this week, a decrease of 64,400 mt WoW. For the next week, the impact from maintenance on hot-rolled steel production is expected to be 19,600 mt, a decrease of 32,800 mt WoW from this week.

This week, ferrous metals were in the doldrums, with coking coal and coke staging a mid-week rise.
