【50,000-Ton Lithium Battery Recycling Project Potentially Lands in Chongqing】Recently, the Development and Reform Commission platform of Qijiang District, Chongqing, announced the acceptance of a new energy vehicle battery recycling and comprehensive utilization project. The project will comprehensively process 50,000 tons of retired lithium batteries, including 10,000 tons of waste ternary lithium batteries and 40,000 tons of waste lithium iron phosphate batteries. After processing, outputs will include 12,000 tons of lithium batteries, 3,336 tons of lithium carbonate, 1,954.25 tons of manganese sulfate, 2,157.21 tons of cobalt sulfate, 5,052.07 tons of nickel sulfate, and 7,140.33 tons of sodium sulfate.
