PowerChina's newly signed contract value decreased by 0.93% from January to May

According to the announcement on major business operations from January to May 2025 released by PowerChina, the value of newly signed contracts from January to May reached 474 billion yuan, representing a YoY decline of 0.93%. An analysis by business type shows that in the energy sector, PV and thermal power decreased by 32.61% and 62.28%, respectively, while wind power increased by 67.33%. Regionally, the value of overseas contracts increased by 30.51%, while domestic contracts decreased by 6.67%.
