On June 18, FAW Hongqi announced that its hydrogen fuel cell vehicle project successfully passed key tests for hydrogen consumption and range at the China Automotive Technology and Research Center. The tests were conducted strictly in accordance with the international stringent CHTC-C test procedures. Hongqi's hydrogen fuel cell system demonstrated excellent performance in stability and energy management accuracy, with hydrogen consumption reduced by 15% compared to competitors, reaching an industry-leading level. FAW Hongqi stated that its fuel cell hybrid power energy management strategy has achieved 100% independent research and development. The success of this test marks that Hongqi has mastered the key core technologies of fuel cell hybrid power energy management in the hydrogen energy field.
